Ronnie Adams
Ronnie Adams, from Swamp People, is a Louisiana native, commercial fisherman, and outdoorsman best known for his role on the History Channel’s hit series Swamp People. Raised in the bayous of southern Louisiana, Ronnie learned early how to live off the land: fishing, trapping, and navigating some of the most unforgiving terrain in the country.
Ronnie built his reputation through hard work and real-world experience long before television. His deep understanding of swamp life, wildlife behavior, and survival in extreme conditions comes from generations of knowledge passed down and years spent working on the water. That authenticity is what made him a natural fit for Swamp People and what continues to resonate with viewers.
Known for his calm demeanor, sharp instincts, and relentless work ethic, Ronnie represents the reality of bayou life—not the dramatized version. He values tradition, self-reliance, and respect for the outdoors, and he brings those principles into everything he does, both on and off camera.
